The fudge is one of the easiest, most delicious treats you could make! Keep the whole pan for yourself or make as a gift and share the wealth. You'll be surprised how many new friends you make with this simple treat.
One Year Ago Today Butternut Agnolotti with Walnut Cream Sauce & Crispy Brussels Leaves
Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge
12 oz semi sweet chocolate chips
2 cups sweetened, creamy peanut butter
1 cup vegan butter
2 cups organic powdered sugar, sifted
Line a 9x9 baking dish with foil and grease.
Combine the chocolate, peanut butter and butter in a bowl and place over a double boiler. Stir and melt. Remove from the heat and add the powdered sugar. Stir until smooth and pour into the baking dish. Chill until firm and cut into pieces.
Wow. This sounds amazingly easy and looks wonderful. I definitely need to make this for next munchies! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI tasted these via a friend who prepared them as a birthday treat. They ARE delicious, not sickly-sweet like some fudge. I plan to use unsweetened non-hydrogenated PB when I make them. Or has anyone made this with almond butter? A TREAT indeed, otherwise some extra pounds can be expected!
