Blackberry Ice Cream

Nothing is better than homemade ice cream especially when it is flavored with my favorite berry, blackberries. This base took me less than five minutes to put into the ice cream machine and requires no cooking!

Creamy, rich blackberry ice cream thickened with ripe bananas and a drop of vanilla.

Blackberry Ice Cream
1 lb frozen blackberries, partly thawed
1 banana
1 cup hemp milk
2 tbl arrowroot
3/4 cup organic cane sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract

Combine all of the ingredients in a food processor and blend for 4 minutes until completely smooth. Transfer to an ice cream machine and process according to your machines directions. Mine took 20 minutes. Transfer the ice cream to a sealed container and freeze to allow to harden further.
